First/ Firstly, secondly, thirdly, fourthly, fifthly… eleventhly… twenty-firstly

Two rules here:

First, don’t count over three (four at a pinch). After that, the effect is unintentionally hilarious.

Second, the modern usage is to say first, second, third without the adverbial suffix –ly
