Majority v most

Restrict the word "majority" to references to a voting, elections, debating chambers, surveys, polls and statistical reports.

For all other cases, use "most".

Do not write The majority of Americans believe their political system is just fine as it is,  unless you are referring to a poll or survey that has numbers in it.

Simply write Most Americans believe their political system is just fine as it is.
